Flip-flop

…..No reason, other than it’s warming up nicely (it won’t last!!!) and I could do with some. Flip-flops, that is.
Gotta get the toenails looking a little less gnarled first. I wouldn’t want to scare small children and the elderly…. oh wait, that could be fun!

The Tragic Consequences of Watching an Episode of the BBC’s Changing Rooms:

You find yourself dreaming (proper sleep-type dreaming, as opposed to just sitting on one’s arse and imagining far off, exotic locations/people/events) about advising one of the couples on how they can make their living room look a little less poncy/stupid/chalet-like and a little more, well, livable and normal.

Nothing major, just a touch of re-painting and instructions on how to remove faux-stone fireplaces made of loft insulation. Yes, who’d have thought loft insulation could have exciting possibilities in the realm of home decoration beyond that of its normal, practical usage.

Made me think that if anyone did that to my property, I’d be forced to kill them. Or just beat them up. Severely. And that the law should be changed to allow this to happen with no fear of reprisal. (Ooo, inciting violence! OOooOoOo!! Ahem!)

I didn’t mean to watch that show, it was just on in the corner. I was doing other, more interesting things at the time and it caught my eye. Mainly due to the hideousness of it all.

I’m feeling bouncy now. I won’t indulge though. An earthquake is about the last thing this city needs. I’ll just find something else to drain my energy.
