Over Weekender
I didn't escape the total Hen Night @Home experience. I was pretty much dragged out for the dinner, but resisted any attempts to presuade me to visit any of the hostelries of this not-so-fine city.
If I were to be ever asked where one should go for dinner, I wouldn't recommend were we ate. Nor would I like to pay a repeat visit to the place. Cheap and tasteless food, with cheap and nasty wine. A mighty waste of my £22. And I had to wear bunny ears throughout.
I probably wasn't at my best, if the truth be told. I'd spent Friday night (and some of Saturday morning) drowning in vodka. I had to ring myself out sufficiently for yet another dress fitting the next afternoon. My dress fits perfectly. I'm not on some stupid diet consisting of chocolate and ice cream which has caused me to drop 2 dress sizes since I first picked the dress, way back in September.
Sunday was whiled away listening to assorted metal complications and drinking Earl Grey. How amazingly fun.

Alas, I can only emulate the talented and not-so-talented in my own particular way.

Kinda reminds me of my band days. We used to prepare for gigs by watching Countdown on Channel 4 and drinking Tetley. We knew how to do rock ‘n’ roll back then all right…

Yeah pity you couldn’t actually play…

You should put grind’s site back up so the whole world can laugh!
