-start of unimportant news-
I like Tuesdays.
They're my new favourite day.
My brand spanking new laptop arrives (hopefully) on Tuesday.
I am, however, required to hang about the house all day, waiting. But as I normally do this, I don't think I'm going to have that much of a problem.

Have they given you a totally rediculous timeframe? Your item will be delivered between 5:30 am and 11pm!
If you get up early, the daymn thing won’t come til late afternoon, If you don’t get up they will come at the crack of dawn forcing an answering of the door in ones night clothes type scenario - I’d go for the latter!

An easy dilemma to solve. Simply go out drinking the night before and collapse in one’s clothes upon retiring to bed.

Hmm and greet the courier blurry eyed and knock him out with the smell of morning afterness - if in fact you hear the door at all.

By 3.00 pm it still wont have arrived. You will ring up to track order only to be greeted with answerphone and numerous options, youll be put on hold, after 20 mins a human will answer to tell you the item is on its way. By 5.30 still no delivery, your excitement will have worn off, you will get pissed up later on in the evening and retire to bed worse for wear. You will oversleep the following morning and find a note popped under the front door saying “sorry we tried to deliver your parcel but you were out”. You phone the couriers who tell you that it will be back at the depot for collection at 6.00pm or it will be delivered the next day.
